Hazelhurst Gallery opened in 2000 after the grounds were donated by Ben and Hazel Broadhurst. Now owned by the Sutherland Shire council, the gallery exhibits art by local and international artists. Hazelhurst is an art gallery, with a communal outlook. Despite 10-20 exhibitions per year, the gallery still runs art classes, and educational seminars. Hazelhurst also holds artists talks, which help form a connection between the artist and their audience. Along with the exhibition room, Hazelhurst also boasts a successful café and gift shop.
